How do I place a hold on a book that is checked out?

For best results, please use Firefox or Chrome.

Shepherd users must logon to the online catalog using their Shepherd logon credentials.

Community Borrowers must sign in to ‘My Account’ and enter their password. Please see below for instructions on "How To Create a Password"

You will receive an email when the item is ready for pick up at the Public Services desk. Let the desk attendant know that you have an item on the "Hold Shelf". We strive to fill requests no later than the next business day.

How to Create a Password for Community Members

Community Members will need a password to place a hold. This document will walk you through the steps to create a password for "My Account". Please have your library card at hand to create a password. After the password has been created, a hold may be placed. If you receive an error when placing a hold, your library account might not be up to date. Please call Public Services for Library Account questions.
